Certified Pesticide Applicator / Turf Management Major duties This position is responsible for providing service, scientific and technical applications, and knowledge to his/ her residential and / or commercial customers. We are in search of individuals who can both represent and promote our mission as a premier lawn care company focusing on cutting edge turf management practices and outstanding customer service. Individuals will be responsible for the management of customer accounts including planning, scheduling, routing and customer relations. Additional duties include record keeping for all material and pesticides, proper handling, storage and application of pesticides. Applicant must have the ability to understand soil science and read soil analysis chart. The individual needs to be able to diagnose turf type, weeds, insects, and turf diseases. Requirements Applicants must have a pesticide applicator licenses with at least three years of experience. A valid driver’s license in good standing is a must. A Bachelors of Science degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, or science related field is desirable. Benefits and Pay We offer competitive wages with a health insurance plan. Individual will be responsible for the management of customer accounts including planning, scheduling, routing and customer relations. Additional duties include record keeping for all material and pesticides, proper handling, storage and application of pesticides. Applicant must have great plant identification skills and be able to diagnose insects and plant diseases. Requirements Applicants must have a pesticide applicator licenses with at least three years of experience. A valid driver’s license in good standing is a must.
